The method  ·  in full

Four rules. Enforced in the software, not printed on a poster.

Most things sold in this space are a plan and some encouragement. This is four structural decisions, each one aimed at a specific way people drift. Here is every one of them, and the reasoning underneath.

Seal the day

Ticking a box is not a commitment. Anyone can tap a screen. Sealing is a separate, deliberate act that says: this is a true record of what happened.

Only sealed days count toward either number. An unsealed day is not a good day or a bad day, it is simply a day you did not turn up to. That distinction matters more than it sounds, because the failure mode of every tracker ever made is a grid you tidy rather than a record you keep.

Thirty seconds. That is the whole daily ask.

It is deliberately small, because a system that needs fifteen minutes a day is a system you abandon in week three, and week three is precisely where this is designed to hold.

The honest count never resets

This is the one that matters, and it is the reason this page exists.

You carry two numbers. The run is consecutive days you kept the build, and a miss ends it. That is honest, and it should end. The honest count is consecutive days you sealed a true record, kept or not, and the only thing on earth that resets it is lying.

KeptMissed, and said so

Reset on day eleven. That is honest, and it should reset.
The honest count
14
Untouched. Fourteen days of a true record, including the bad one.
You cannot truly fail a day you tell the truth about.

Read what that does to a bad week. You miss three sessions. Under a streak counter the number goes to zero, everything you built evaporates, and the rational move is to say nothing and quietly stop opening the app. Under this one, one number resets and the other climbs, and the honest version of the week is measurably better than the hidden one. Not emotionally better. Structurally better, on the screen, in the data.

A miss shows in steel grey. Never red. Nothing on your dashboard will ever tell you that you broke something.

Why this is designed this way. The documented failure pattern in accountability of every kind is not the missed session. It is the quiet after it: the concealment, then the drift, then the exit weeks later, usually blamed on the plan. A counter that resets to zero rewards concealment, which means every tool built on one is working against the person using it. This rule is the correction.

Yesterday closes

You can log today and yesterday. Anything older locks, and only your coach can reopen a day.

Without this, a record is fiction. Given a week's grace, everybody eventually goes back and improves history a little, and the moment the record stops being true the coaching stops being possible, because your coach is now reading a document about somebody who does not exist.

This is a rule the system applies, not a suggestion it makes. Once a day is closed, only your coach can open it again.

Your coach holds the pen

Only your coach adds, edits or removes something from your build. There is no control for it on your side of the dashboard.

Every habit app hands you the one tool guaranteed to kill the habit: the ability to delete it at your lowest moment. At 11pm on a flat Wednesday, the version of you holding the phone is not the version who set this up, and he should not get a vote.

You choose what you are chasing. Your coach designs how you get there.

This is co-design, not control. You say what matters and what your week actually looks like. They write the daily actions and adjust them weekly. You can request a change any time, and the answer is usually yes. But you have to ask a person, out loud, in daylight, which is a completely different act from deleting something in silence.

The walkthrough  ·  2:17

The whole thing, shown rather than described.

Momentum's own walkthrough. The dashboard as a member actually sees it, what marking and sealing a day looks like, what your coach reads at the end of the week, and why there is no AI anywhere in it. Two minutes and seventeen seconds, and you will know exactly what you are applying for.

The Momentum dashboard on a member's twelfth day: four habits waiting to be marked kept, part or missed, and a seal button at the foot of the screen.

Nothing loads until you press play.

The week  ·  what actually happens

The rhythm, once you are in

Daily · 30 seconds

Open the dashboard. Mark each item kept, part or missed. Write a line if you want to, or do not. Seal it. Both counts update. That is the whole of it.

On the third miss

If the same item goes three scheduled days running, your coach is emailed that same day and messages you. Something missed three times is a badly designed item, not a character flaw, and the fix is almost always to shrink it or move its cue.

Weekly

A check-in card appears on the day you chose. Energy, honesty, what worked, what got in the way, what you want changed. Your coach reads it, replies properly, then rewrites the build for the week ahead.

Whenever

A message box that goes to a person. Not a chatbot, not a help centre. Ask for a change, say something is not working, or say nothing for a fortnight. It is yours.

Jehvon Gairy Momentum

Everything on this page is Momentum's. The four rules, the software that enforces them, the coaches who write your build and read your week. Jehvon brought this to his audience and runs it himself. He does not coach anybody, and he never sees a day of your log.

What this is, and what it very much is not

Momentum is habit and accountability coaching. It is not a training programme, it is not nutritional therapy, and it is not medical or mental-health care.

Your coach will not write you a hypertrophy split or prescribe your macros. If that is what you need, hire a trainer or a registered nutritionist, and keep them. Momentum sits underneath whatever plan you already have and makes sure it actually happens.

We also make no claim about what your body will look like, or when. Not a timeline, not a transformation, not a comparison to anybody else's before-and-after. Nobody honest can give you that, and a service that pretends otherwise will be dishonest about other things too.

Ten honest minutes, and a coach reads it.

$95 a month at the founding rate, locked for as long as you stay, and your first month is refundable in full. You pay first, then fill in your intake; if a coach reads it and we are not the right fit, you get every penny back the same day.

Start

A word on the harder end of this. Momentum is habit and accountability coaching. It is not medical care, nutritional therapy or mental-health treatment. If your relationship with food, training or your body has become something that worries you or the people around you, that deserves proper support rather than another accountability system, and your coach is trained to say so early and help you find it.
